NAVISP Industry Days 2025 – Innovate, Integrate, Elevate

This event explored the latest advancements in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) technologies. This year’s theme, "Innovate, Integrate, Elevate: Powering Global PNT Competitiveness," set the stage for two days of in-depth discussions, cutting-edge insights, and unparalleled networking opportunities. The event was designed to facilitate collaboration among well-established companies across Europe and Canada, as well as newcomers eager to make a significant impact in the fast-evolving PNT sector. IDI’s co-chair Vladimir Vorotovic discussed, amongst others, the need for cross-sectoral collaboration micro-financing schemes and the role of living labs to accelerate the integrating aerial services into multimodal traffic.

MDS Connect: Data and the Future of Air Mobility

IDI’s co-chair Vassilis Agouridas talked about the IDI Platform and gave a closer look about the purpose and vision of this cross-sector innovation community – aimed at accelerating deployment of innovative aerial services. The focus: how drones, eVTOLs and emerging aerial services can be embedded in multimodal traffic and next generation operations of cities and regions using data-driven approaches. Learn more

ITS European Congress 2025

The flagship 2025 event for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Europe is uniting experts from mobility, technology, and policy to advance key European mobility and sustainability initiatives. IDI’s co-chair Vassilis Agouridas will be organising and moderating the following sessions: - SIS 12 Innovation and implementation lessons from drone deployments on Monday, May 19, at 14:00. - SIS 19 Overcoming the deployment challenges of Innovative Air Mobility for passengers on Tuesday, May 20 at 10:30. In addition, IDI will be represented by Christos Panayiotou, from KIOS (founding partner).

The intAIRgrated mobility 2025 is part of the ITS European Congress 2025 and serves as a dedicated showcase event chaired by IDI co-chair Vassilis Agouridas. It highlights ITS-driven solutions for accelerating the deployment of innovation aerial services.

Innovative Air Mobility Symposium 2025

The 5th IAM Symposium brings together experts from academia, industry and government to shape the future of advanced, urban and regional air mobility – exploring topics such as autonomous systems, AI in aviation, airspace integration, safety and regulation. IDI will be featured in the Poster Session. European Network of U-space Stakeholders Meeting

The meeting of European Network of U-Space Stakeholders is organised by the Support Cell (comprising the European Commission/DG MOVE, EUROCONTROL, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the SESAR Joint Undertaking and the European Defence Agency. The scope of the meeting is to share lessons learned related to ongoing U-Space implementation activities across Europe. Vassilis Agouridas, co-chair of IDI, and Armindo Torres from DLR, member of the IDI Steering Committee, are representing IDI at the meeting.
